It’s been a good while since I’ve done one of these, and I’ve been meaning to have a proper full-on play with Honey Select Unlimited Extend’s Studio Neo for a while. No time like the present, eh?

For those just joining us,Β Honey Select UnlimitedΒ is a legendaryΒ hentaiΒ game from developer Illusion that is most well-known for its excellent character creation tools rather than itsΒ filthy content. (Its filthy content is very good too, mind.)Β Honey Select Unlimited ExtendΒ is an expansion pack for it, and part of that expansion is an all-new photo studio app to complement and/or replace the originalΒ Honey Unlimited StudioΒ application.

The Hundred Honeys Project, meanwhile, is my ongoing attempt to break theΒ Honey Select UnlimitedΒ studio applications by ramming as many characters as possible into a single scene without my computer exploding.

Honey Select Unlimited Extend: More Bang For Your 60 Bucks

Well, the Honey Select Unlimited expansion is here, courtesy of prolific hentai localisers Fakku!

Honey Select Unlimited Extend,Β as the expansion is known, combines both of the expansions previously available for the original Japanese version ofΒ Honey Select. At $59.99, it’s quite pricey — that’s what the main game costs by itself — so doubtless you want to know if it’s worth a punt.

Since I’ve already written extensively about developer Illusion’s history and whatΒ Honey SelectΒ is all about previously — along with trying my best to break the Studio application — I figured the best thing to do today would be to take an extremely NSFW tour of the software with the expansion installed with you in tow, dear reader, and we can see what’s new together. The MoeGamer Awards are a series of β€œalternative” awards that I’ve devised in collaboration with the community as an excuse to celebrate the games, experiences and fanbases that have left a particular impression on me in 2018. Find out more andΒ leave a suggestion here!

Last year, there was one game more than any other that consistently brought people to MoeGamer; I was seemingly one of the few people on the Internet who had actually written anything about it. I chose to celebrate this game with The Traffic Magnet award.

This year I encountered a similar situation with a different game — last year’s winner still regularly appears in my top search results, but the posts about this year’s winner still appear in my top posts pretty much every day.

Well, it’s been a while since we last checked in with the Honeys, so by popular request (all right, one person asked) it’s high time we paid them a visit.

Today I decided to let in-game assistant Sitri do all the hard work in terms of character design, while I’d do “the easy bit” — posing them in a suitable environment.

Several hours later, I feel like I may have gotten the raw end of the deal here… but the results were worth it!

Waifu Wednesday: The Hundred Honeys Project – A New Venue

That bedroom was getting a bit cramped with all the Honeys present, so I’ve moved the photoshoots to a new location. Which is already pretty full.

For those unaware, the Hundred Honeys Project is my attempt to see just how far I can push the engine of Illusion and Fakku’s excellent sex sim-cum-digital dollhouseΒ Honey Select UnlimitedΒ — and specifically itsΒ Honey Unlimited StudioΒ feature, which allows you to load in characters and pose them as you see fit for, you know, digital art.

Today, as a bit of a change, I thought I’d investigate the Illusion Game Cards Booru and download some creations from the wider community — specifically those that don’tΒ make use of any external mods, just the included assets. Making use of someone else’s character couldn’t be simpler — just download the .png file from the booru, drop it inΒ Honey Select Unlimited’sΒ UserData\chara folder and… that’s it! The .png files contain all the info the game needs to decipher the custom character.

Waifu Wednesday: Another Hundred Honeys Update

It’s actually been a little while since I had a play around with the excellentΒ Honey Select Unlimited, so I thought tonight I’d settle down and make some more Honeys.

In case you haven’t stumbled across this idle little project before, my goal here is relatively simple: keep building Honeys and incorporating them into a scene until the included Studio app that comes withΒ Honey Select UnlimitedΒ won’t let me add any more. Or my computer catches fire, whichever one comes first.

So far things have been going quite well, and there’s a few more additions to the harem today.

Waifu Wednesday: The Hundred Honeys Project

With how much I’ve been enjoying the recent release of Honey Select Unlimited, I thought I’d do something a bit different for today’s Waifu Wednesday.

It’s a bit of a creative project, if you will, but also an opportunity to gradually, over time, test out whatΒ Honey Select UnlimitedΒ and its companion applicationΒ Honey Unlimited StudioΒ is actually capable of. I intend to create as many virtual women as I can and squeeze as many as possible into a single scene.

So far I’ve managed eight and my computer hasn’t exploded yet. Want to meet them? Thought so.
