Besides being a cracking series of games that are a lot of fun to enjoy in their own right, a very appealing aspect of the Senran Kagura series for a lot of players is how it encourages creativity.

This has taken a number of different forms over the years, beginning with the simple option to dress the various characters up as you see fit — with these custom appearances being reflected in real-time cutscenes during the game — and gradually evolving into a fully-formed “Diorama” feature where you can arrange and pose characters as you see fit.

It’s Tuesday! That doesn’t mean anything in and of itself, other than the fact that I’ve arbitrarily decided it’s time to pay the Empire Club of Custom Order Maid 3D 2 another visit. And that has nothing to do with it being Tuesday.

Today, we continue getting to know our “main three” maids a little better as Hi-chan tries her best to convince Majima-san to join her on her quest to become an idol maid. Aya, meanwhile, has numerous things to practice. And who knows what that mysterious little fox girl is up to?

Well, it’s been a while since we last checked in with the Honeys, so by popular request (all right, one person asked) it’s high time we paid them a visit.

Today I decided to let in-game assistant Sitri do all the hard work in terms of character design, while I’d do “the easy bit” — posing them in a suitable environment.

Several hours later, I feel like I may have gotten the raw end of the deal here… but the results were worth it!

Waifu Wednesday: Another Hundred Honeys Update

It’s actually been a little while since I had a play around with the excellentΒ Honey Select Unlimited, so I thought tonight I’d settle down and make some more Honeys.

In case you haven’t stumbled across this idle little project before, my goal here is relatively simple: keep building Honeys and incorporating them into a scene until the included Studio app that comes withΒ Honey Select UnlimitedΒ won’t let me add any more. Or my computer catches fire, whichever one comes first.

So far things have been going quite well, and there’s a few more additions to the harem today.
