The Wu campaign continues as the Sun family comes to blows over the recapture of their father.
In this installment, the Battle of Sekigahara, we retire the ever-reliable Ranmaru Mori for now in favour of newcomer Kunoichi, who turned up in the previous battle. She is joined by Taishi “Prepare to Die” Ci and Lady Nō to form what appears to be a pretty respectable fighting team.
Hit the jump to see how the battle went this time around…
While she was somewhat underlevelled for this battle, thus making her not as useful as she perhaps could have been, I enjoyed putting Kunoichi through her paces. Her rapid attacks are particularly appealing — and make it a little surprising she is categorised as a “power” character — plus it’s hard to go wrong with someone who squeaks “Hi-YA!” quite so enthusiastically during the heat of battle.
Victory in this battle provides us with access to Sun Shiang Xiang and Ina for future battles, meaning an all cute girl team is now very much within our reach. So, depending on what abilities we have left to unlock for Taishi Ci next time around, that may well be something that happens… stay tuned!
