Warriors Orochi is definitely getting easier the further I go through it.
Today’s mission is done and dusted in under 20 minutes — including the obligatory “upgrade and fusion” time before we actually get into the hackin’ and a-slashin’. This is keeping things fun and interesting, however; the sense of “power creep” is very satisfying indeed, and I’m looking forward to seeing how powerful my warriors are by the time I get to the final story campaigns!
For now, hit the jump to see how remarkably smoothly today’s rescue mission went.
Lady Nō! Yes, it’s time to rescue Nobunaga’s wife from captivity, though upon finding her she appears to be more than capable of handling herself. And since recording this video I have learned that she is indeed recruitable by playing this level better than I did. Lady Nō is a demanding mistress, it seems.
This is quite an interesting mission in that it unfolds on a very tiny, rather cramped map and is mostly about survival. In order to recruit Lady Nō, you have to kill all of the messengers before they manage to send for reinforcements… I’ll have to give that another go offscreen sometime, because I most certainly want her in my camp, if you know what I mean.
