Hello everyone! Hope you’re all having as pleasant a weekend as can be expected under the current circumstances.
It’s gone warm and summery here, but to be honest this is my least favourite kind of weather because I do not deal well with being too hot. It’s time to get all the windows open and get the fans blowing, I guess.

Good morning everybody! Sorry this is a day late, but I was up until 2am finishing Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm; I’d rather foolishly believed I’d do this “afterwards”. Oh well!
Anyway, it’s been a busy week as always! Lots to catch up on if you’ve been busy — although chances are if you’re being good boys and girls and Staying At Home, Protecting the NHS (Or Local Equivalent) and Saving Lives, then you haven’t been that busy lately. Although my wife is finding time to hammer large holes in our house during her working day. She claims she has a “plan”. I’m staying out of the way.

I have, of course, been continuing to beaver away at the various things I’ve been working on, and indeed later today I’m recording some more videos for you to enjoy in the next couple of weeks.

Morning all! I didn’t find time to put together the usual weekly roundup yesterday as a result of 1) cleaning up cat poop in the garden and 2) playing a game for (paid) review. But here I am now!
Patrons will know what game I’m talking about; the rest of you will hopefully see my review of it a little later this week over on Nintendo Life, plus a more in-depth write-up here on MoeGamer as has been the case with the last few games I’ve covered for them.

Happy Sunday evening everyone! One of the worst parts of the week, when you know Monday is just around the corner, thereby meaning that you can’t really justify staying up all night playing video games or something.

Good evening! Another week draws to a close, we’re a week closer to Christmas and Pokémon is out! Truly, the festive season begins here. Probably.
We’ve got one more week to run on our current feature exploring Shade’s games Bullet Girls Phantasia and Gun Gun Pixies, and then I will likely continue to explore the former’s substantial postgame in an upcoming (possibly irregular) video series, so please look forward to that. From there, we’re looking forward to a bit of Pokémon funtimes, plus the now-traditional MoeGamer Awards for December.

Good morning! Apologies this is a day late, but I got distracted making a bunch of videos and then playing Freedom Planet until midnight last night.
Freedom Planet is amazing if you’ve never experienced it before. I’ll do a full writeup this week, but suffice to say that… yeah. It’s amazing. I’ve known this for a long time, but I’d been holding off playing it all the way through until I got a packaged release of it, which I now do thanks to Limited Run Games.
But anyway. That’s a story for later. For now, let’s take a look back on what you might have missed in the last week…
Goodness me, the last couple of weeks have been some of MoeGamer’s best for a long time in terms of visitors. So a hearty “welcome” if you’re new around here!
I’m delighted that so many new people have come along to see what I’m up to; I’m perhaps less delighted about the circumstances which prompted such an influx of readers — as you’ll find out more about shortly — but at the very least, I hope those new readers have found a place where they can enjoy their favourite things without judgement or censure.
As you’ll know if you’ve been following for a while, I don’t have any great grand plans for MoeGamer to be a one-stop daily gaming resource — I don’t really do “news”, for example — but I do make a point of, at the very least, taking titles the mainstream press have treated like crap and giving them the respect they deserve. Evening all! It’s time for another weekly roundup and an update.
You may have noticed I haven’t yet kicked off a new Cover Game feature having finished the one on The Expression: Amrilato. This is mostly down to the fact I’ve been a bit busy, tired and, frankly, depressed and anxious lately, and that’s put me a bit behind “schedule”, as it were. Hopefully this week, though, I’ll at least get the introduction to the next feature up, however — but I do want to finish the visual novel I’m currently enjoying first.
Anyway. Enough shop talk, let’s catch up on what you might have missed this week…
It’s been… kind of a tough week, but I won’t talk too much about that here, because there was a post on that very subject a few days back.
I’m muddling through as always, with plenty of stuff for you to read and watch this week, and hopefully things will pick up for me in the ol’ mental health department soon. Although looking around the things people I know have been posting recently, it seems like it’s been a pretty crappy time for a lot of people, so my sympathies if you, too, have been Dealing with Things.
