Welcome back! With the recent release of Dragon Marked for Death on PS4, we thought we were long overdue for an Inti Creates love-in on the podcast. Joining me today, as always, is my regular partner in crime, Chris Caskie of MrGilderPixels.
The MoeGamer Podcast is available in several places. You can subscribe to my channel on YouTube to stay up to date with both the video versions of the podcast and my weekly videos (including the Atari A to Z retro gaming series); you can follow on Soundcloud for the audio-only version of the podcast; you can subscribe via RSS to get the audio-only version of the podcast in your favourite podcast app; or you can subscribe via iTunes and listen on Spotify. Please do at least one of these if you can; it really helps us out!

We kick off today with a catch-up session on recent gaming news. There’s a lot to talk about, including Atelier Ryza 2, Shin Megami Tensei, Cadence of Hyrule and a bunch of other stuff that came out of both the Nintendo Direct Mini and the Xbox presentation — yes, this time around, there’s actually a fair bit of Xbox news, which is unusual for us!
We follow that up with a chat about what we’ve been playing recently, including Trials of Mana, Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy and Test Drive Unlimited before wandering off on a bit of a tangent about how right now is a great time to get into collecting Xbox 360 and PS3 games.
Then finally, the main event for today: an exploration and celebration of Inti Creates’ excellent work over the years. You may recall I’ve covered several of their games here on MoeGamer previously, including Gal*Gun Double Peace, Gal*Gun 2 and a selection of their “modern retro” platform action games. But we felt like talking about them, as they’re a developer that we both have a HELL of a lot of time for — and we’re always excited to see what they’re up to.
