The various classes have some interesting abilities once you level them up a bit, but you’ll probably find a good rotation that works well for most random encounters and then make liberal use of the “repeat last turn” button. This keeps combat pacy, but could be frustrating to those who prefer a little more depth.
Demon Gaze’s dungeons may not be the most impressive things to look at in static screenshots, but their maps are well-designed and they’re interesting to explore. And that, in this kind of game, is what counts.
Pinay is by far the most moe-tastic of Demon Gaze’s cast. Other characters are more subtly depicted, but Pinay is always right in your face.
Prometh is such a wonderfully strange character that I have no doubt I’ll remember her long after my time with Demon Gaze comes to an end.
