True Ending To get the True Ending, you simply have to beat every boss, collect every item and collect every Life Up. This will likely come naturally if you’re thorough about exploring. Note that you do not need to highlight every square on the map.
If the ending seems a bit bleak, you missed something. If you’ve done it right, you’ll have an extra stage to complete before the true final boss.
