Inti Creates: Introduction and History - This month on MoeGamer, we’re taking a look at a group of games that are connected primarily through the developer that created them. That developer is Inti Creates, a group formed by ex-Capcom staff in 1996. It’s a company that is much-beloved by its fans, but which has, over the years, tended to beaver away … Continue reading Inti Creates: Introduction and History
Inti Creates: On Being a Truly International Game Developer - As gaming has evolved, the medium of “video games” has broadened considerably. Or perhaps it’s more accurate to say that a wide variety of disparate markets have started to overlap and mingle. One of the most interesting things about gaming today is the wide variety of experiences we can enjoy from creators all over the … Continue reading Inti Creates: On Being a Truly International Game Developer
Blaster Master Zero: Retro, Reimagined - Blaster Master Zero for Nintendo Switch and 3DS is an interesting game in more ways than one. Not only is it a loving remake of a very fondly regarded title from back in the NES era, it also incorporates elements of the Famicom game that was heavily reimagined to become Blaster Master. On top of that, … Continue reading Blaster Master Zero: Retro, Reimagined
Mighty No. 9: “Better than Nothing” – The Game People Love to Hate - Mighty No. 9 is an interesting tale from 21st century gaming that has doubtless been very influential… though perhaps not in the way that was originally hoped for. One of the earliest success stories of the crowdfunding boom in the early 2010s, the Kickstarter campaign for Mighty No. 9 promised something a lot of people were hungry … Continue reading Mighty No. 9: “Better than Nothing” – The Game People Love to Hate
Azure Striker Gunvolt: An Electrifying Action Platformer - As we’ve already seen, one of Inti Creates’ biggest strengths as a developer is its ability to understand what made the games of the past great while simultaneously updating them with modern conveniences and conventions. Azure Striker Gunvolt, a relatively new series from the company but one which has already gone on to be popular and … Continue reading Azure Striker Gunvolt: An Electrifying Action Platformer
Mighty Gunvolt Burst: Bringing It All Together - If you ever wanted to play a game that is clearly Inti Creates “at play”, Mighty Gunvolt Burst on Nintendo Switch and 3DS is emphatically the game for you. Coming across as a rather wonderful attempt to fling everything at the wall and see what sticks, this NES-style, Mega Man-inspired romp features an impressive degree of … Continue reading Mighty Gunvolt Burst: Bringing It All Together
Azure Striker Gunvolt 2: Amping It Up - What makes a good sequel? It’s a question that there isn’t really a conclusive answer for, because there are so many different ways you can approach it. In the world of video games, we’ve had titles that completely reinvent themselves from their previous installments, games that simply offer more of the same, and series that … Continue reading Azure Striker Gunvolt 2: Amping It Up

Other Articles about Blaster Master Zero

Waifu Wednesday: Eve - Later this week, we’re going to take a closer look at Inti Creates’ excellent Blaster Master Zero for Switch and 3DS. So it’s only fitting that we devote a Waifu Wednesday to its heroine. Blaster Master as a whole actually has rather more detailed lore than you might expect for… well, for something with a title … Continue reading Waifu Wednesday: Eve
Waifu Wednesday: Ekoro - As we’re about to launch headlong into a month of Inti Creates sidescrollers for February’s Cover Game(s) features, what better waifu to pick for this week than someone who is rapidly becoming the company’s mascot? First introduced in 2015’s Gal*Gun Double Peace, Ekoro is a third-year student at the Angel Academy, and one of the catalysts for … Continue reading Waifu Wednesday: Ekoro

Tips and Tricks

True Ending
To get the True Ending, you simply have to beat every boss, collect every item and collect every Life Up. This will likely come naturally if you’re thorough about exploring. Note that you do not need to highlight every square on the map.

If the ending seems a bit bleak, you missed something. If you’ve done it right, you’ll have an extra stage to complete before the true final boss.
