We kick off today with some discussion of the latest happenings in and around of the little corner of the games industry we’re particularly interested in, including talk of Disaster Report 4, a new Trails game, Blue Protocol, a welcome Mighty Switch Force compilation, Atelier Ryza and her thighs, an upcoming new Dragon Quest (and a possible remake) and plenty more besides.
Then we move on to our regular discussion of what we’ve been playing recently. Chris has been enjoying Tribute Games’ twerk ’em up Curses ‘n’ Chaos and Game Tengoku CruisinMix, while I’ve been probably the most normie I’ve been for a while with some Super Mario Maker 2 and Breath of the Wild. Oh, and Senran Kagura Peach Ball; more to come on that in the near future!
Finally, we move on to today’s main topic: the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection and its many treasures. Can we trace a line from SNK’s dim and distant past to its more well-known stuff from the Neo Geo era and beyond? Or was this a whole other age of games that we’ve left far behind us now?
Enjoy the show!

Thanks for reading; I hope you enjoyed this article. I’ve been writing about games in one form or another since the days of the old Atari computers, with work published in Page 6/New Atari User, PC Zone, the UK Official Nintendo Magazine, GamePro, IGN, USgamer, Glixel and more over the years, and I love what I do.
