Today, we beat Final Fantasy II once and for all! Well, apart from the Soul of Rebirth story added in the GBA version, of course, but we’ll deal with that when we come to it.
We have a couple of significant obstacles in our path though: the Jade Passage and Pandaemonium dungeons! The latter in particular is quite easy to get lost in, as I find out to my great cost… but it does at least have some rather tasty treasure to enjoy if you happen to stumble across it.
Pack a lunch, sit down and enjoy, as we take the fight to the Emperor and attempt to save the world from invasion by Hell itself!
This is it! Almost, anyway. The forces of Wei (and friends) are finally ready to take the battle to Orochi.
Each of the final battles in the four Warriors Orochi campaigns unfold similarly, but with various differences in the small events that occur during the battle itself. Ultimately, though, the goal is always the same: open the way to Orochi, then beat his ass down once and for all. Or at least until the next game, anyway.
Will the power of Wei prevail? Of course it will, but humour me, at least… next time around it’s the grand finale!
It’s that time again… time to face down Crazy Snake Guy and decide the fate of ancient China and/or Samurai-era Japan once and for all.
Yes, our playthrough of the Wu campaign in Warriors Orochi has finally reached the final mission (aside from the last side mission, which we’ll take on next week) and thus, there’s just one thing left to do, having reunited the Sun family beneath the banner of the tiger…
Hit the jump to see how the Sun bros (and sis… err, and dad) got on with this one last challenge…
