Hello! How are you? The weather seems to be on the turn here and the evenings are getting a bit lighter, so the general mood seems to be lifting a bit. January sure sucks, huh.
Well, a low mood for the last month and a bit hasn’t stopped me from hammering out a whole bunch of cool stuff for you to hopefully enjoy! We’ve kicked off a new Cover Game feature, for starters, as well as several ongoing series.

Hello! It is cold. It even snowed this week, though sadly not enough to get off work. Boo and indeed hiss.
Plenty to talk about this week, however, and from next week we’ll be starting a brand new Cover Game feature on the subject of Spike Chunsoft’s sound novel 428: Shibuya Scramble. Please look forward to it!

Another week over. Hooray, I guess?
To be absolutely frank, I haven’t had an amazing week in terms of general personal and mental wellbeing, but I won’t bore you with the details here — that’s what my exclusive daily blog for Patrons is for! (Among other things, obviously, please don’t get the impression it is nothing but Pete is Sad posts.) But, as always, my various ongoing projects have helped bring me a certain degree of joy and distract me from the general bleakness of late January that everyone seems to suffer under the weight of.
That’s a nice uplifting way to start, isn’t it? Let’s check out what you might have missed this week, and maybe we’ll all feel better afterwards.

Anyway, it’s been a busy week. My own personal issues aside, I’m more than happy with how things are going around these parts. I’ve got some fun videos going out nearly every day of the week now, we’ve got another great episode of The MoeGamer Podcast for you to enjoy, I’m really enjoying the current Cover Game feature and I’m feeling quite inspired for what I might be able to provide some deep-dives into over the course of the next few months.

Well, we come to the end of another week, and a monumentally unexciting one at that.
Having endured the pre-Christmas doldrums, it’s now time to get suitably discontent in the run-up to February, which my family has long regarded as the most depressing month in the whole year for some unscientific, almost certainly superstitious reason.
Still, at least there are some cool games on the way… and the things I’ve been covering here on MoeGamer have been making me happy, so… well, there’s that! Hit the jump to see what you might have missed this week.

Still, that means getting back on a normal schedule again, and it also means the beginning of a new year of Cover Game features, kicking off with the Atelier Arland series starting this month. From there… well, there’s a whole bunch of stuff I’m excited about covering in the near future!
There are also developments in the world of Atari A to Z, and I’ll be getting the ball rolling on Videopac Games again this week now that I’m in a good “rhythm” again. But for now, hit the jump to see what you might have missed!
Happy new year, everyone! I hope you all had a suitably tolerable New Year’s Eve. I spent most of mine editing and preparing videos, but to be honest, this is the sort of thing I’d rather do these days anyway!
Today I thought I’d take a moment to look forward to 2019, make a few plans and inform you of what my intentions for MoeGamer and my other projects are for the coming year. None of said projects are going anywhere, I hasten to add — I am, however, expanding on or rethinking a few things here and there.

Merry Christmas! And a preemptive Happy New Year! We’re into the final days of 2018 as I type this, so I hope you are all wrapping the year up in suitably festive fashion.
We’re almost at the end of this year’s MoeGamer Awards for 2018, with just my personal Game of the Year 2018 left to declare before the new year gets underway. You may well be able to predict what it is, but I’ll leave it as a surprise for Monday just in case anyway.

Hello! I’m away from easy access to a computer on Christmas Day, so I thought I’d post an early Christmas message today.
I just wanted to say a brief thank you to everyone who has supported MoeGamer since its inception in 2014, whether it’s through liking, commenting on and sharing my work, or through financially supporting it via Patreon or Ko-Fi.
It’s been a great year for the site, with the best annual viewing figures ever, and some of my favourite work I’ve created to date. I’ve had great fun getting a format for YouTube videos established (though I still have some ideas I want to explore in the new year!) and I’ve been delighted to collaborate with my closest friend on a podcast I’m both proud of and continually excited to be a part of.
2019 is going to be an even better year, and I can’t wait to continue sharing my passion and enthusiasm for gaming with you all. A sincere, heartfelt thank you for all your support, and I hope you have a wonderfully restful festive season.

Hello! It’s nearly Christmas!
Yes, that most wonderful (and/or stressful, and/or depressing, depending on your own personal life situation) time of the year is just around the corner, many of you reading this will have broken up from work or school, and there’s just a general air of anticipation in the… um… air.
