Warriors Wednesday: Spirits of Sanada

Oh no! Ghosts! They ruin everything. Particularly when they’re not actually there.

This is the painful lesson that Yukimura Sanada has to learn in today’s Warriors Orochi mission. Fortunately, Zhao Yun, Yue Ying and Ginchiyo Tachibana are right there ready and waiting to educate him with various pointy implements.

Hit the jump to see how the Shu gang’s attempts to prove their corporeal nature went…

I misunderstood an aspect of this mission at first. I believed the “Messengers” who appear at the start to be part of an optional objective that would allow me to unlock a “secret” character, but it turns out that sort of thing only tends to happen in the “Gaiden” or side missions, those marked with an X on the chapter list. As such, despite my efforts in the latter half of the video, I could have just waded in and kicked the snot out of all the reinforcements.

Oh well. You live and learn. And the Shu gang gained some valuable allies in the process. This was a fun mission!
