Sunday Driving: Scorching Rubber – Split/Second #9

Well over the halfway point through Split/Second now, and we’re starting to unlock some of the top-notch cars.

There are still some significant challenges ahead of us, but today’s installment goes strangely smoothly… perhaps it’s down to the amount of gas I fill myself with before getting underway properly.

Whatever the reason, hit the jump to see how things went… and beware of the flatulence.

It’s hard to say exactly what caused today’s races to go so much better than some of the previous attempts have, but there was definitely a noticeable improvement in my performance.

I suspect this was largely due to the Class A car I was using for most of the session, so here’s hoping that makes the rest of the game similarly straightforward… otherwise we’re in a load of trouble once our opponents catch up with us in terms of vehicle specifications!

I’m really enjoying revisiting this game. I loved it when it first came out and it’s proving to be a blast — no pun intended — once again second time around.
