Pete Plays Dragon World: The Real Treasure is Love

And now the epic conclusion of the Dragon World saga!

Back when we played this in the classroom, you were doing really well if you made it to Part 2, which wouldn’t allow you to even start playing without a password. (“ogweb”, if you’re too lazy to deal with Part 1’s nonsense)

Part 2 takes you on a surprisingly unforgiving treasure hunt through the aptly-named Town of Treasures… so let’s see if we can find something to make all dragonkind happy!

Both parts of Dragon World have an interesting mix of genuine logical thinking and absolute guesswork bullshit, and this is especially apparent here in Part 2, where the first half of the experience has a fixed solution that you have to go through every single goddamn time you start over, but the second half is pure guesswork the first time you come across it. After that, it’s a test of memory.

I wasn’t going to let a stupid kids’ game from 1985 defeat me, though, so keep watching for an exclusive chance to see the TRUE ENDING of Dragon World for the BBC Micro!
